NPC Sugestion: Weapon Cleaner
How many times don't you'd like to clean a weapon from mods?
Like for trading: I have a weapon with crapy mods and I would like ot get rid of them.
Mayb a NPC that for a small fee (about 100g) cleans the weapon/staff etc from mods.
I know that's not a necessary thing, but it would be nice!
What do you think?

What great idea! i often have decent weapons ill give to noobs or guildies with have crap mods like vamp 1-1 or something and have to buy a mod to put it onto it.
They should really do this.

Not a bad idea at all. At first the title of this was perplexing, but now that I've read it it makes sense.

It isn't really needed as people can just upgrade the weapon with a better mod

And Fow and 15k armor isn't needed..so why is it there?
Same thing!
Sometimes people like to have their non-used weapons without mods, I would.
That remember me of another thing:
Instead of the NPC Anet could introduce blank mods, sold by weapons trader!

Say you find a +5 energy sword in a rare skin with a 1:1 vamp mod on it. As your not going to be attacking with it, the vamp mod throws degen on you but you dont get hp back.
This idea would allow a quick way for you to remove that degen, without having to hunt around for a mod that most people just throwaway to the merchant.
Though the situation I described would also be solved if ANET added a weapon upgrade trader.

I heard somewhere they are going to put in an upgrade merchant, so the best thing to do would be to put the blank mods on them
